In the South West of Madagascar, located at 22°65'51.16 south latitude and 43°32'26.32 east longitude, the hotel is located in Ambokatsa, 90 kilometers north of Tulear, 12 kilometers south of Salary (30 Km of paved road and 60 km of tracks) approximately 3 hours away with a 4X4 all-terrain vehicle.
Built on a small dune, the lodge overlooks the Salary Lagoon, named after the most famous riverside village.
This lagon is formed by a long fringing coral reef, not far from the coast. It begins to the south after Manombo with a shore of mangroves, then dunes, quite straight, indented into small bays where the Vezo fishing villages were established to protect themselves from the south wind. It continues with a few breaks until the Bay of Assassins.
